Easter is coming up. We are so excited so we wanted to make a fun craft to add more fun decor and bunnies to our house, so we decided on DIY EasterJars. 🙂 We just got Glass Milk Bottles from Oriental Trading and I am in love! They are the perfect size for my kids and great quality (they also come with a plastic lid). I knew they would be perfect for smoothies, so we got our crafting supplies out and I let the kids decorate and customize their jars while I made a delicious Pineapple Strawberry smoothie to go inside when they were done. In addition to DIY Easter Jars, these would also be great to decorate and use as treat jars, gifts for teachers, family, friends, etc. I will be sharing a couple more posts with these, so watch for them soon.
We gathered all of the craft supplies for the DIY Easter Jars. We got these super cute Superhero Stickers that you can decorate eggs with and we decided to use them on our jars. We also got letter stickers so we could put our names on them, and we used wire and beads to decorate around the tops of the jars. Another Easter item that we found were these Easter Bunny Straws. My kids love to use them all the time and I knew they would be perfect to use with these bottles. Shopping online at OritentalTrading.com makes it easy for me to get all of the craft and party supplies I need for any occasion.
To make the Pineapple Strawberry Smoothie combine 8-10 whole strawberries and 10 pieces of chunk pineapple (we use frozen fruit but you can use fresh or canned). Combine these together in your blender (we use a Ninja Duo) and then add 2 cups of milk (almond or regular) and then 2 cups of juice (we used V8 Fusion, but any kind that complements strawberry and pineapple would work.) I also add 7-10 ice cubes. Blend together and enjoy!
I hope you enjoy making these as much as we did! You can do these for any occasion, and would be great to make as party favors for a birthday or Easter party and let the kids decorate their own and then you can give them drinks or treats to go inside. These would also be fun to decorate and then put flowers in for Mother’s Day. What other great ideas do you have for these jars?
I love getting together with my kids and doing fun things like this. It gives us time to bond and we have fun crafts to show for it when we are done and great memories to look back on. What do you and your kids love to do together?

How adorable are these jars! I love that you get to design the jar and even allow the kids to design their own. It’s really a fun activity for the whole family! I love how they turned out as well.
