In the mood to make something fun for Halloween? This easy and fun Halloween Snack is sure to please and only takes a few ingredients! This Halloween Shooters Recipe is laid out step by step with easy to follow directions and pictures. Try it out and let me know what you think.
We went out to eat the other night and they had such yummy Peanut Butter Chocolate Shooters – it got me in the mood to make some of my own. To stay in the “Halloween” spirit – we decided to make Halloween Shooters. These are so easy because you don’t need as many ingredients – keep reading to see how we made two-ingredient cake, with three ingredient oh so yummy frosting (spoiler alert – we used Fanta)…
To start off you will need a White Cake Mix, a Bottle of Fanta Orange Soda, Cool Whip, Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix, Cinnamon, and Oreo’s. Grab a bowl and add the white cake mix to it. Next get a cup out and start measuring 1.5 cups of Fanta Orange Soda and dump into the cake mix. Stir until smooth then add to a cake pan and put into an oven. You will bake the cake the same as directed the box.
While your cake is cooking you are going to prepare some of the other steps. You will need a food processor, and grind up about 6-8 Oreo’s and layer the bottom of each jar or glass evenly. I put one heaping spoonful because, well, I love Oreo’s and a good crust.
After you have your “crust” done, set the rest of the cookie crumbs aside and start mixing the frosting. You will add the whole container of Cool Whip, a who package of Vanilla instant pudding mix, and 1/2 cup of Fanta Orange Soda and mix together. One it has a good texture – divide the mixture into two equal parts and use half now and save the other half for later.
Once you have the cool whip mixture mixed together, you will take and put a layer on top of the Oreo crumb crust. Be careful not to “mix it together” but rather keep it in layers. Just for the record, I am using 4 oz Jelly Jars. I got them in a 12 pack with lids and everything at Walmart for about $8. I will use them over and over so it was a good investment for me. They are so cute!
Once you have put a layer of the Cool Whip mixture on top of the cookie crumbs, your cake should be out and slightly cooled. I took a plastic drink cup and cut part of the bottom off. I them proceeded to use this as my “cookie cutter” for the cake. I put one circle of cake into each jar.
We are getting close! YAY! After the cake is in you will want to add one more layer of the Whip Cream “frosting” to the top. I used yellow and orange food coloring to dye the frosting and mixed it well to get a really great orange color. I then put one spoonful of Orange into each jar on top of the cake. I then sprinkled the rest of the Oreo over the top of the cups and cut up come orange Kit Kat candy bars I found to put on top! YUM.

Enjoy!
You can decorate these however you would like. Use toothpicks and make your own fun toppers, use plastic spiders, mini pumpkins, and more! I used Jelly Jars for my shooters because they have lids and I can put the lid on and put it in the fridge. They are also super cute and decorated for gifts!

Ohhh Yumm! These cute pumpkin shooters look soo delicious! I can’t believe how creative you are! I’ve never even seen orange Kit Kat bars, but they look tasty. I think I would probably put Halloween Peeps on top of the shooters after they were done, just to make sure that everything was edible! Once again, these are adorable! Thanks for sharing!
