Homemade Ice Cream Sandwich Cookies
My kids love cookies and they love ice cream, so as a result, they are always asking for us to buy ice cream sandwiches. I am not “cheap”, but I do like to think frugally, and we came up with a great idea to get a whole lot more (and better tasting) ice cream sandwiches for about the same price as we would have paid for about 8.
Simply take a package of cookies and a box of ice cream, and spoon a good amount of ice cream between two cookies and enjoy! This is a fun snack for us occasionally! My kids love it and we think its fun! You can take it a step further and dip them in hot fudge, roll them in sprinkles or candy, etc. Get creative! It makes it even more fun.
