One-pot spaghetti with meatballs

April 28, 2015

There are few things we like better than getting together for a meal – enjoying each other’s company and having great food. It is the perfect combination. We often have friends and family over for meals, games, and visiting and it makes it all the more enjoyable. We recently had friends over and tried this one-pot spaghetti with meatballs recipe, and it was super easy to make. We added some garlic, Parmesan, and Italian meatballs to it for extra flavor, and it was a huge hit with everyone (ages 2 to adult). It is a keeper! We used the Ragú® Old World Style® Sauce, and I loved the flavor.

Making dinner is almost as fun as sitting down together and enjoying the meal.  My kids love to help so they all took turns adding ingredients into the pot (since it is one-pot) before we let it cook. It was really nice to have it all in one place and it all cooked really nicely, I just didn’t stir it quite often enough so a little stuck to the bottom,  but overall I am really happy with how easy it is to make and we will be enjoying it regularly from now on! They always have fun slurping the noodles and the meatballs made it extra fun – not to mention the sauce that got everywhere 😀

Spaghetti and steak are my hubby’s two favorite dishes, so he and his friend cooked some meat on the BBQ while I and my friend (with the help of all the kids) put together the rest of the meal in-house. I enjoyed the visit and it was made even better with all the yummy smells from the good food that was cooking. What makes our mealtime Saucesome is being around the table together. We get to enjoy each other while we are cooking and preparing the meal and it just rolls over to our mealtime. We had good friends over for dinner and it made our night even more Saucesome!

I never knew that you could cook noodles in the sauce. This looks like a great time was had by all.

I just made spaghetti last night and used two jars of Ragu! Been a brand I have used with pasta for years.
